Crux is a collaborative ‘community based’ approach to magazine making. We have no formal office or staff and our many article and photo editors are located throughout Australia. Our aim is to publish an interesting and entertaining magazine that contains articles from every corner of the Australian climbing scene – no matter what the grade or ‘fame’ of people involved. It should be a snapshot of the current diverse nature of our sport – warts and all. Each issue is to be the result of many people who work together to create the magazine. Climbing is our passion, and this enthusiasm will reflect in the content of the magazine. Final text of all articles and news stories will be approved by the author before publication. All correspondence and submissions to the magazine, including photography, will be via email. Most of all we want to share the incredible energy that climbers have for their chosen pursuit by creating a magazine for the people, by the people. Amen.
